Multi-layer agility: a proposed concept of business agility in organizational behavior perspective

Turbulence in the business environment imposed large companies or market leaders to become more agile doing business. Developing agility can be implemented many levels of organization. This paper proposes a multi-layer perspective construct by examining validity through structural equation modelling. Based on organizational behavior theory, this combining from three different perspectives agility: strategic an perspective, leadership group and learning individual perspective. The involved 477 supervisors managers Indonesian oil palm plantations as respondents. data was analyzed using Lisrel version 9.30. result explains that second-order is best-fit for defining measurement model.
